Is this my lot?

is this my lot

Gain confidence and self-esteem, understand your values and how they affect your motivation, what motivates you and how to improve your relationships at home or at work.

I will offer you a warm welcome to our ‘Is this my lot?’ workshop where hot, mouth-watering freshly baked pastries and your morning coffee await you as you register for this rather special day.  We have a cosy room with calming views of Poole Harbour and can choose to have our buffet lunch outside by the sea (weather permitting) with special diets catered for.

This workshop will attract both men and women, over the age of 18, from a diverse range of backgrounds. The topics and materials are suitable for both home and work-life.  When we’re feeling physically stressed most of us would enjoy a massage… If you feel any other sort of stress come and enjoy this ‘mental spa day’.

Aims:

The aim of this workshop is to address issues commonly voiced where people lack the motivation to do anything about their lot, they may feel they’re stuck, lacking confidence or sabotage their own plans. They may be struggling with relationships at work or at home and wish to get away from the resulting anguish. The focus of the day is on the well-being of everyone present. Each delegate is invited to propose one problem or issue they would like to address. This should be detailed on the booking form prior to the workshop. Delegates will be coached personally and collectively to achieve their stated aim.

Our Testimonials

I wanted help to ‘discover myself’ and know how I could help myself. Everything about this course was good and I found the section on values and beliefs particularly important. I will use what I’ve learnt to help guide me through my life.
Linda Zaben
I want to be able to put my life in order of importance – what is really important, and self-programming. I enjoyed thinking about my priorities in life and the nice relaxing atmosphere; everyone was very friendly. I now realise that to self-believe is most important.
Frances Gazzard
I needed more encouragement to achieve my goals. I enjoyed Yvonne’s presentation and now realise how important it is to think more positively. I will use my new skills to enhance my life.
Ros Hinsley
I wanted to better understand the concept of self-programming. I liked the relaxing atmosphere and the feeling of inclusiveness. The main topics were entirely applicable to my experience. I will use this with my family and my work, trying to use them to improve my self-esteem by concentrating on what I consider are my own qualities.
Phil Gazzard
I want to learn to be more relaxed about life and learn to control my thoughts. I enjoyed the relaxation part, a feeling of warmth and security. It was nice to know that people are around you who care, and thinking of how you are coping, and experiencing. I found the introduction words very true to my own thoughts. I will try to use positive thoughts about other’s remarks or actions. But I find that very difficult. For me the course was not long enough – one day, to be of more benefit to me, I need a longer course to be fully taught to change my ways.
